Anat Edri    Anat Edri l soprano

 

Anat Edri was born in 1989 and finished the High School of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, she is also a graduate of the Ancor Choir, with which she appeared as soloist in Israel and abroad. She studies voice at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the class of Bibiana Goldenthal and with the vocal coach Zvi Semel. She earned the Sharet Foundation scholarships for the years 2007-08 and the Rokem Excellence Scholarship in 2007. She has participated in various master classes with the greatest artists, such as Andreas Scholl, Eda Moser, Jeannette Fabro-Reuther, Gert Ocker and others.

 

At the age of 17 she sang the First Lady part in the Magic Flute by Mozart with the Jerusalem Symphony in the concert-series Do-Re-Mix. She appeared as soloist with the Jerusalem Oratorio Choir performing Cantata 106 by Bach. She also sang the soprano parts of the Gloria by Vivaldi, Te-Deum by Charpentier and the Ode to Queen Mary by Purcell with Israel Camerata Orchestra. Recently she appeared with Ensemble 21 in the Hungarian Songs by Bartok and this year she will appear again as soloist with the ensembles Phoenix and Baroccada and will participate in master-classes with Eda Moser at the Salzburg Mozarteum
